Dr. Anoma Ariyawardana from the University of Peradeniya made the main presentation titled “ Constraints to Agribusiness Development”  which was followed by Dr. Kamal Karunagoda from the Department of Agriculture whose presentation was on “ Agribusiness Development: A Policy Perspective.” Ms. Chitranganie Mubarak, senior programme head of ICTA spoke on What ICT can do? While Mr. Samantha Ranatuga, CEO of CIC chaired as well as made a presentation on policy recommendations from a private sector perspective. 

The meeting was well attended with representatives from the academia, high ranking members from the public as well as the private sector and media. The Open Forum led to a lively and substantive discussion on the subject.
